Michele Bachmann said during an MSNBC appearance tonight that Hillary Clinton‘s recent comment about killing coal jobs sounds like it came from a candidate more in line with “fascist values.”
At CNN’s town hall this past Sunday, Clinton talked about renewable energy and said, “We’re going to put a lot of coal miners and coal companies out of business.”
Naturally, this didn’t sit well with many people, and when Chris Matthews asked Bachmann about Donald Trump‘s unfavorables with women, she quickly pivoted to Clinton’s remark.
And, clearly taking a subtle jab at all the people who have called Trump a fascist, Bachmann said of Clinton’s declaration on coal, “This is something more than a candidate who’s in line with fascist values would put forward.”
And when Matthews asked “which one has fascist values,” for clarification, Bachmann said, “Mrs. Clinton, because here she is and she says she’s gonna put an entire American industry out of business.”
