Fox’s Tucker Carlson tonight faced off with Sunsara Taylor from the group Refuse Fascism, who argued that President Trump‘s administration is a “fascist regime.”
Taylor said, “Humanity is facing an emergency…Trump and Pence are operating out of Hitler’s playbook, only they have nuclear weapons.”
Carlson, who noted at the start she wouldn’t be on his show if Trump was truly fascist, said that if Taylor was serious about thinking Trump is Hitler, her activism would go well beyond simply speaking out.
Taylor said there needs to be serious protest and resistance against Trump’s fascist administration, and she even took some shots at Carlson himself, telling him, “I know you like to carry water for the liar-in-chief. I know you like to justify and rationalize the sexual predator-in-chief.”
She also argued that Trump is “more dangerous than Hitler ever could have been” in part because of America’s nuclear arsenal.
Carlson told her he’s trying to take her seriously but said at one point said, “This is silly.”
